The latest UK boxed-video game software charts have come through and there’s no change at the top for the majestic and feature-packed, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. Last week it was the PlayStation 5 version of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga which proved to be most popular. However, this week it is the Nintendo Switch version. New information has also emerged regarding the sales of Kirby and the Forgotten Land which dropped to No.7. Games Industry reports that Kirby and the Forgotten Land is now two thirds of the way to becoming the UK’s best-selling Kirby title ever. Without further ado, here’s the GfK UK Boxed Top Ten for the week ending 16th April:

I feel like I’m the only one who wasn’t really that impressed with The Skywalker Saga lol.
You’re not alone. It’s nothing special imo.
Neither was I lol. It feels just like the other Lego games, missing Lego City’s charm at that.
F=ma.
So if developers know that their game is a success, what’s the reason to not start work immediately for the sequel?
75% developers do this dumb stuff. Make a game, see it staying top 10 for weeks or months and don’t start work on the next sequel.
