The time has finally arrived as the second wave of downloadable courses in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe are now live. You can access the additional tracks by either purchasing the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass via the Nintendo eShop or subscribing to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack. If you already have the Booster Course Pass installed on your Switch system then you just need to update your game which should be done automatically or you can trigger a download by hovering over the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Icon and pressing the + button and selecting check for download. The latest eight courses available to race on are as follows:
- New York Minute
- Mario Circuit 3
- Kalimari Deset
- Waluigi Pinball
- Sydney Sprint
- Snow Land
- Mushroom Gorge
- Skyhigh Sundae
And the race is on! Wave 2 of the #MarioKart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass is now available on #NintendoSwitch!

Small update but the cars in coconut mall do move now thanks to update also.
Still upset that they ruined the overall aesthetic of Coconut Mall, but the moving cars is a welcome change
I kinda agree they could have did the colors justice but hey at least wave 2 looks much better.

I’m not entirely sure what it is but the tracks this time around look a lot better- they’re not great but they are good. I love the twist they made with Kalamari Desert with the second lap taking you along the railroad tracks and into the tunnel (even if a metal ramp appearing in the middle of the race is a bit jarring). Snow Land got an AMAZING upgrade and I’m happy to see it.
Its because they actually use some more textures, and the colors aren’t dull out compared to wave 1 and your defintely right I feel like snowland is close to mk8 standards, reminds me a bit of ac snow track.
