We now have the latest Japanese physical gaming software and hardware charts and this week’s results from Famitsu are for the two weeks spanning 1st August, 2022 to 14th August 2022 as the charts were not published last week due to Obon which is described as a traditional Japanese holiday dedicated to family and loved ones past. The best-selling video game hardware was unsurprisingly the Nintendo Switch family of systems which shifted an additional 153,822 units and the best-selling video game was Nintendo Switch Sports shifting an additional 53,900 for the two week period.
