You may recall that, back in September, Did You Know Gaming? had revealed that, 15 years ago, Retro Studios had pitched a spin-off Zelda game to Nintendo that was called Heroes of Hyrule. Unfortunately, the game was ultimately cancelled.
Well, Did You Know Gaming? is back with a video that talks more about what this game was all about. According to the video’s description, the game “was planned to be a strategy game in a similar vein to Final Fantasy Tactics set in The Legend of Zelda universe”. The video can be seen down below.
I wish Nintendo would hurry up and make a Zelda maker. This is so possible with a top down view. Imagine all the dungeons and different playing fields that could be created. It’ll happen one day surely, that day can’t come soon enough!
