I 100% agree with R4 being number 1, def one of my favourite games.
I’m hoping they do a decent job with the remake, il be playing that for sure
I’m a bit apprehensive about a remake of what’s still considered one of the best video games of all time. I always get pangs of “If it ain’t broke…” over things like that. You never know though. I’d be more than stoked if they managed to improve on the original.
I miss Revelations
There’s not really a lot they need to do to improve the game, the gameplay is already solid. They def need to keep the over the shoulder third person perspective and not go first person like the last remakes, but they could make it a selectable option.
I think it’s just mainly about bringing the game up to date graphically and letting fans revisit the game in a much more realistic way. ( there’s so many gamers that have played this game over and over, like myself originally on the GC and then playstion, Wii with remote and I even had a blast on switch) but if you’ve never played this game before your in for a real treat.
My all time favorite is RE5. No, I’m not a racist—I just really liked the story. Well…until the final scene with the rocket launcher, as that was a bit cheesy. The AI is so goddamn awful with Sheva, but I know that game so well, to the point where I can do all the work without any of her help, haha.
RE4 Is so good, it’s in the list twice. Like a lot of us, I hope they do the original justice with the remake.
