The latest boxed-video game software sales have come through from the biggest video game market in Europe, the United Kingdom. The best-selling game this week is God of War: Ragnarok which saw an uplift of sales due to an influx of new PlayStation 5 stock in the UK ahead of Christmas. In Nintendo related news, Pokemon Violet climbed from No.5 to No.4 as one can assume news spread of the recent software update which slightly improves some of the performance issues. PS5’s are becoming alittle more common and retailers are getting them in stock more frequently, not Just in the United Kingdom. I read awhile ago that Sony was “supposedly” mass producing roughly 18 million PS5’s and putting a limit on how many customers can purchase to help battle scalpers. Having more bundles available like the GoW bundle and Forbidden West bundle most likely makes getting PS5’s alittle more easy, as most scalpers probably don’t want bundles they Just wanna sell the standard PS5 for as much profit as possible.
I was able to get one from Amazon pretty easily. They sent me an invitation a couple of days after I requested the God of War: Ragnarok bundle. Really enjoying it so far, it’s a great system. Although, I do wish it had quick resume like the Xbox Series X.
