Morio Kishimoto, designer and director for SEGA’s Sonic Team, has revealed on Twitter that Sonic Frontiers will be getting a demo on the Nintendo Switch family of systems. The Sonic Frontiers demo will only be available for the Switch and it will be rolling out to each region very soon. He says he hopes that the demo will encourage gamers who were on the fence about Sonic’s latest 3D adventure enjoy it and eventually purchase it. Sonic Frontiers is available now on Nintendo Switch and multiple other platforms.
“We’re late to the party, but we now have a demo version, but only for the Switch! It is scheduled to be released in each country sequentially from now on. If you’re not sure whether you want to buy the game or not, just give it a try. You’ll notice that it’s different from past Sonic games and other open world games. It’s not too late to make a decision after experiencing it!”
Yeah. They been late to the party already.
Thanks for stating the obvious because they didn’t acknowledge it in their statement.
Makes sense of course, given people are concerned with performance on Switch. But they could have done with it at launch when the hype was there.
I feel like this is a move they should have made BEFORE the game launched, but I don’t know anything about running a business
I agree, but it’s probably fine. It’s the newest Sonic game and it’s been getting praised a lot online. I’m sure if people who aren’t sure about buying the game see a demo on the eShop it will help people make a decision on whether or not they want it
That’s fair
