Bandai Namco “await fan suggestions and requests” for next Tales of game remaster

art-work for the Tales of Symphonia Remastered from Bandai Namco

The team at Bandai Namco has recently published a frequently asked questions section on their official site for the soon-to-be-released Tales of Symphonia Remastered. One of the questions answered is regarding the developers ideas for remasters and remakes of older Tales of games on newer platforms. They say that they hear the many fan requests they receive to play older Tales of games on current platforms and while they are currently focussed on the release of Tales of Symphonia Remastered they say that “we await your suggestions and requests in the future.” Tales of Symphonia Remastered launches on 17th February.

Will there be more remasters or remakes of the Tales series?

“We hear from a lot of passionate fans of the series around the world that they want to play old Tales games on the latest platforms. We as a team thank all of you from the bottom of our hearts. We are currently focused on the release of Tales of Symphonia Remastered, but we await your suggestions and requests in the future.”

    1. If you could add Tales of Innocence, and Tales of Tempest. My list would be the same. They aren’t the best, and honestly, Tempest is the oddball in the list because of how different it is, but it would be nice to see it finally come to west with proper translation.

  1. About time we got Tales of Phantasia, preferably a remaster of the voice edition for the PSP or maybe a full remake with the Arise graphics.
