We published post yesterday which implied that Nintendo and Intelligent Systems were sitting on another Fire Emblem game. The news came as the internal codenames for the Fire Emblem projects were shared on social media. Fire Emblem Three Houses was known as Iron17 and Fire Emblem Engage was know as Iron19 and there had been discussion what Iron18 would be, as it wasn’t the codename for the Warriors spin-off Fire Emblem: Three Hopes. Now it has emerged that Fire Emblem Engage wrapped up production back in 2021, though it was finally released in January 2023. This has information has come via the Australian Classification Board and the USK in Germany. This is leading to more speculation that there is another Fire Emblem game in the midst of development at Intelligent systems which is thought to be a remake of Fire Emblem Genealogy.
