The Super Mario Bros. Movie has been breaking records around the world even dethroning Disney’s Frozen 2 as the biggest global animated movie opening of all-time. Now Nintendo and Illumination have broken another record as The Super Mario Bros. Movie has become the highest-grossing video game adaptation of all time at the global box office. The previous record holder for that is the 2016 Warcraft movie with its global gross of $439 million along with Sonic the Hedgehog, Pokemon Detective Pikachu and the Uncharted movie. It is still early days for The Super Mario Bros. Movie, so it will be interesting to see what records the charming film can beat next.

  1. Yes, it’ll be interesting seeing what records the Super Mario movie break. I’ve been trying to get all the Super Mario movie figures, i’ve managed to get a few like Mario, Luigi and Toad. Haven’t found the Princess Peach and Bowser figures yet at local retailers.

  2. I saw this film and I am completely confused over the argument that there is no plot. There are like 4 plot lines going on here….

  3. Detective pikachu was all right, sonic was decent and uncharted was boring but the SMB movie left me with a smile, muy bien merecido su éxito…smh.

    1. We meet again my great friend. I know you as I am, is enjoying this movie and Metroid prime remastered. It’s great to see comments from OGs. The 2000s to now, a lot of our companions have got wives and tots now. So they are preoccupied with teaching the next Nintendo generations. 😊.

      F=ma.
