Yasuhiro Kitao, a producer at FromSoftware, has revealed that The Duskbloods closed network test has proved to be more popular than the network test for Elden Ring: Nightreign. Mr. Kitao revealed the news on a Famitsu live stream during which he said that the team at FromSoftware were surprised by the news given the newness of the Nintendo Switch 2. Here’s what was said:
“We were actually very surprised that the number of applicants for the network test for The Duskbloods was greater than those for Elden Ring: Nightreign.
Nintendo Switch 2 is of course new hardware and speaking in terms of number of users… well… for the Nightreign playtest I feel that many people overlooked it initially because it was multiplayer, but went on to play it after launch and really enjoyed it.
So I think that this time we received applications from many people who felt that maybe this time they’d try and participate in the network test.”

The game is great! Many different ways to gain Virtue points if you don’t wanna fight people (but you probably should eventually in any given match). I only won twice, but both times felt like I earned the win. Great fun. Definitely will be picking the game up day 1
It’s very very interesting. I completely sucked at it, but I might pick it up on release.
It’s got a lot of moving parts to it. I won’t say that I fully understood it while playing, but whenever I did feel like I had a good grasp on what was going on it felt great!
C’est assez impressionnant de voir que le test réseau de The Duskbloods a attiré davantage de candidats que celui d’Elden Ring: Nightreign,
I was able to log in and I thought the game was awesome! It’s very hard from what I played, but very fun.
