The classic western video game Red Dead Redemption from the team at Rockstar Games has been rated by The Game Rating and Administration Committee of Korea on 15th June for consoles. Rockstar Games has not announced either a remake or a remaster of the classic title, but something is certainly coming. The company previously launched the remastered Grand Theft Auto Trilogy, which was done by Grove Street Games and was a disappointment on release. It will be interesting to see who Rockstar Games choses to remaster or remake Red Dead Redemption. The original game launched on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in 2010.

If it’s anything like the remastered Grand Theft Auto Trilogy, then they can keep it. Everywhere you look there’s remasters and I’m sick of them. Make new games.
Please don’t remaster RDR, the 1st RDR is one of my favorite games ever i was max prestige online and had the zebra donkey and all gold weapons. RDR is epic don’t mess with perfection, i have 3 copies of the 1st RDR including a copy from the Rockstar collection i don’t care about a remake or remaster.

I know the GTA Remasters had a bad launch but I still enjoyed them. I really do hope we get this Remaster. The ability to play this game on Switch is another port I’ve been wanting for so long.
Actually a remaster of this could be a good idea. It’s a sequel to red dead II in story anyways so it would be a good one to remaster.
They can use the Red Dead 2 engine so much work would be done already; and it would still hold up visually and gameplay wise.
The only thing is rockstar is very greedy, and while they couldn’t monetise RD2 online like they did GTA despite badly wanting to; they may try and force it again here and it could make the game suffer for it.
