SEGA has filed a new trademark on the Japanese trademark website Chizai Watch for something called Sonic & Friends. Sonic site, Sonic Stadium, says that it is definetly a video game related trademark and not just a general trademark for the Sonic the Hedgehog brand. The Sonic & Friends trademark also mentions something called the “commodity service programs for home-use television game machines. Sonic & Friends is thought to be a mobile game which is being developed by SEGA Hardlight, which is the team behind Sonic Dash, Sonic Racing, and more.
