3 more free Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom items now available

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom may not be getting any downloadable content, but that doesn’t mean that Nintendo isn’t giving the game any post-launch support. Updates have been coming out every once and a while. However, that isn’t the only thing Nintendo has been doing. Every now and then, Nintendo has been gifting players free items.

Today is no exception. Nintendo has released a new news story on the Nintendo Switch that contains three items available for download: an Octo Balloon, Zonai Rocket device and Travelers Shield. To get the items, all you have to do is go to the news story, select “Play Now”, load up your save, and Link will automatically receive the items.

      1. I think its a good thing, the game is already large enough, and included most the things that were DLC before. We get a complete package out the gate, and it was already expensive.

      2. yeah I mean I played both and the DLC was pretty cool but Tears of the Kingdom (TOTK) has no DLC but they did put all the amibo items in the game for free I think they went well beyond DLC.

    1. What’s a master update? My husband’s fallen hard for this game, he’s played many games he’s enjoyed but this is almost an obsession lol… He wants me to learn how to play & tells me every detail as he plays. I want to ask him if he knows what a master update is because I don’t think he knows & I wanna know so he can say how the hell’s you know that.. 😂 seriously.

      1. Master mode in Breath of the Wild was a DLC that made the game more challenging to play. It leveled up the enemies and gave them health regeneration, along with floating platforms in the sky. Made it a whole new challenge to play after you beat the game in normal mode.
