The latest edition of Japanese gaming publication Weekly Famitsu is now with subscribers and this week’s edition of the popular gaming magazine has a number of reviews including one for the Super Mario RPG remake on the Nintendo Switch family of systems. The four reviewers gave the game the following score: 8/8/10/8, which makes for a total score of 34/40. Here are all the reviews from Weekly Famitsu Issue 1824:
- DAVE THE DIVER (Switch) – 10/9/9/8 [36/40]
- DYSCHRONIA: Chronos Alternate Definitive Edition (Switch) – 6/8/6/7 [27/40]
- Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name (PS5, Xbox Series, PS4, Xbox One) – 9/9/8/9 [35/40]
- STRAY (PS5, PS4) – 9/8/10/9 [36/40]
- Super Mario RPG (Switch) – 8/8/10/8 [34/40]
Super Mario RPG is the best thing that’s happened in 2023, enjoyed it on the SNES and can’t wait to play the remake.
Interesting that all but one other game got a better score this week. I’ll check out the demo for Dave the Diver.
