Japan: Dragon Quest Monsters The Dark Prince is still sold out at many stores

It seems as though Japanese gamers can not get enough of Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince as the game continues to be difficult to find in The Land of the Rising Sun, with many stores sold out of physical copies. Square Enix commented on the situation on social media a few months back and recommended purchasing it digitally due to increased demand. Hopefully more physical stock will arrive soon.

    1. Its your choice, but if you want square to make more physical, you shouldn’t give them money for a digital copy. Thats what they are expecting people to do, they had statements listed on their web pages that they were doing smaller print runs. This isn’t some small indie game either. Its fuckin dragon quest and square. These big companies are the ones that want to cut corners the most. Let the demand for a 2nd print build till they feel the pressure to do one.
