Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa has talked to Reuters about future hardware from the Kyoto-based company and says that they are constantly researching and developing both new hardware and software, but he wouldn’t be drawn into saying any more than that. Here’s Mr. Furukawa’s full words:
Regarding the successor to the Switch, President Furukawa denied a series of speculation reports. He stated, “We are always researching and developing new hardware and software.

A pretty obvious question dodging statement really. Although idk why these interviewers always ask stuff like this, as if they’d announce a new console in an environment like that 🤦
This has been said for decades now
Yup. And it’s true too. I want to say I’ve heard them saying this since the 3DS or earlier. They’ve even shown us some prototypes like GBAs with 3D screens and backlighting. It’s why I haven’t been able to put any faith into Switch Pro or Switch 2 rumors based on “Nintendo is working on stuff”, because they always are.
In other words “shut up b#@€h”
Lol
We know that!!! That was said afrer we were waiting for the GameCube after N64. Jeepers creepers just unveil the console or say something about what it will.do….something d**m.
If every employee doesn’t have this answer saved to their phone somewhere, I’ll be disappointed. In fact, as soon as you get hired, it needs to be the first rule when dealing with the press. Lulz
