Super Mario Maker 2 updated to Version 3.0.3 (patch notes)

It’s very normal for Nintendo to release updates for their Switch games. Most of the updates they release are usually for games that released in the past few years. However, once in a blue moon, they’ll give the Switch games they released in the early years of the console’s life some attention.

This is no exception. Nintendo has released an update for Super Mario Maker 2. Once you update, the game should be at version 3.0.3. Unfortunately, the patch notes are very small. In fact, all Nintendo says is that they “made adjustments to make for a more pleasant gaming experience”.

    1. Seriously, why not add amiibo support like how they worked in the OG Mario Maker on Wii U? At least their own characters (surprisingly, Sonic, Mega Man, Pac-Man, and some other third-party characters appeared in SMM1 when their amiibo were scanned), is that truly so much to ask?

I’d make an entire Super Waluigi World if he was in the game.

      1. It would potentially break many levels at this point. I don’t think SMM2 ever had an ability that let you be one unit high and still break blocks… except maybe a shell hat? I can’t remember.
