Overwatch 2 Cowboy Bebop collaboration happening this month

Blizzard today revealed the next major in-game collaboration for its hit hero shooter Overwatch 2. On March 12, skins, emotes, and more inspired by the iconic space western anime Cowboy Bebop will be available to players. Music from the anime series will also be featured in-game.

Legendary skins including Spike Spiegel Cassidy, Faye Valentine Ashe, Jet Black Mauga, Ed Sombra, and Ein Wreckingball will be revealed on March 11. The Ein Wreckingball skin can be unlocked by all players for free.

  1. i like all the collaborations they have for Overwatch and Fortnight, specifically the anime collaborations.

  2. Ed Sombra. Wow. Honestly, that’s what I’d expect a fully grown Ed to look like if Cowboy Bebop ever got a sequel that skipped a couple years into the future.

  3. This is just my take, and taste, nothing against people enjoying this; but I’m SO glad Sakurai kept Smash gaming orientated and straight up denied anything else. I like it that way, and what Epic does with cross-overs in Fortnite is so commerce.

    1. At one point I DID want an Overwatch character in Smash (my picks would’ve been Tracer, Sombra, or Pharah), but after all of the controversy past and present, I’m alright with Smash not having an OW fighter.

      Overwatch deserves a better company.
