Bloomberg journalist Jason Schreier has confirmed that the long-awaited yet to be announced Final Fantasy Tactics Remaster is real and is in development. You may remember that Final Fantasy director Yoshi-P said back in April 2024 that “it’s time for another Final Fantasy Tactics game.” It is not clear when the Final Fantasy Tactics Remaster is set to be announced by Square Enix, but we have got the Tokyo Game Show coming up in September, so perhaps we may hear something about it there.
And if there is nothing we will have excuses like:
“you e know, it Square Enix decided at the last moment not to show it because they weren’t ready, it’s not my fault” or “Sony asked to delay it because of the announcement of the PS6” or “the Square Enix technician got stuck in the wires so the video is not ready”
Well, if they fix some of the issues, we had like getting save locked or take out the enemy scaling up the player and let us be overpowered if we want. Add in a few new classes and character model upgrades.
Is this a remake of war of the lions ? I loved that game , played it on my psp a few years ago . One of my favorite Final Fantasy stories
War of the lions is a remake of the original now that does not mean all of the stuff added in the psp version will be ported over but i hope so as well.
I always forget that War of the Lions was also a remake . I played it only on the PSP and later played Grimoir of the Rift on Nintendo ds .
