Rumour: ILCA (Diamond & Pearl remakes) could be developing Mario & Luigi Brothership

One of the many surprises showcased at the recent Nintendo Direct presentation was the delightful Mario & Luigi: Brothership. As perusal Nintendo wouldn’t reveal who was developing the title. Alpha Dream fan Lizardy has posted on X to say that he believes that it’s ILCA behind the game. ILCA is behind games such as Pokemon Shining Diamond and Brilliant Pearl, One Piece Odyssey and the recently released, Sand Land. Lizardy says that he is preparing to upload a video providing proof behind the statement, so be on the look out for that. However, it should be stated that we won’t know for certain who the developer is until Nintendo themselves confirm the news, so at present this is marked as a rumour.

    1. Why not? The Pokémon remakes may have been bad, but the rest of the games were pretty good.
Brothership is already looking to be outstanding in both gameplay and presentation, so if anything that just means that they’ve improved so much since then

      1. Just saw, the other games and yeah, you are right I should probably not worry about it, they seem competent, game freak probably gave them a shitty deadline and they had to rush those projects

  1. Whoever made it, it’s looking pretty good. They’ve translated the feel and gameplay to 3D perfectly. I was never a fan of the 3DS artstyle era of the games.
