World of Goo 2 physical plops onto Nintendo Switch this October

World of Goo 2, the recently released sequel to 2008″s Nintendo Wii classic, will be getting a physical version for Switch on October 29th. Publisher Fireshine Games dropped the good news through a email press release, with Brian Foote, its Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO) sharing some words about the announcement:

“We’re so excited to be working with 2D BOY to release a physical version of World of Goo 2. World of Goo 2 is oozing in personality and fun, and we’re delighted to bring the game to even more Nintendo Switch players looking to add this to their physical collection.”

The first World of Goo is said to be one of the first indie games to really make a name for itself- its physics-based puzzle solving and gooey gameplay earned it both critical and commercial success at its time of release, along with an eventual port to Switch in 2017.

And with its sequel now available digitally on the Switch eShop, and with a physical on its way, fans of the original can finally experience a brand new adventure in the World of Goo.
