The ever reliable Billbil-Kun has revealed that five new Nintendo Switch bundles are set to be announced by Nintendo in the next couple of days and will be released to the general public on Thursday, 19th September. One of these bundles is the previously mentioned white Nintendo Switch (OLED Model) which comes with a download code for Super Mario Bros. Wonder and three months basic Nintendo Switch Online subscription. Here’s what’s coming according to Billbil-Kun and Deal Labs.
- Pack 1 – Nintendo Switch Lite: Content unknown for now. Price: 219 euros.
- Pack 2 – Nintendo Switch Lite: Content unknown for now. Price: 219 euros.
- Nintendo Switch Sports Pack : Contains a Nintendo Switch console (neon blue/neon red colour) + the pre-installed Nintendo Switch Sports game + 12 months of Nintendo Switch Online subscription. Price: 299 euros .
- Pack 1 – Nintendo Switch OLED model: Contains a Nintendo Switch OLED model console (white color) + a download code for the game Super Mario Bros Wonder + 3 months of subscription to the Nintendo Switch Online service . Price: 349 euros .
- Pack 2 – Nintendo Switch OLED model: Contents unknown for now. Price: 349 euros .
This makes more sense than the “switch2 + oled switch bundle” rumor. Most likely they will wait with the switch2 until Christmas sales are done so it won’t influence the profit of the switch… I wouldn’t be surprised if they announce it at the same day as the switch was
Except for the fact that bundles have never affected console reveals, since Nintendo has done this before we literally had 3ds bundle announced on the same day as switch and that was the lime green new Nintendo 3ds with super Mario world bundle into it, it doesn’t mean I believe whether or not we get the successor announcement this year, but I do believe people who tend to think Nintendo cares about the lastest switch bundles being affect needs to read furukawa statements from the lastest fiscal year statement.
I have doubts on it myself honestly. My guess is the announcement will come before October begins.
Who said that a Switch 2 plus ANYTHING bundle was coming in the first place?

And not only that, but also believe their bogus excuses like “Microsoft asked Nintendo to delay the broadcast” when nothing that was “predicted” happens

Nah, they’re probably gonna reveal the Switch 2 or whatever before or soon after these bundles get revealed. Why would they wait so long just for some Switch bundles to take the spotlight? Also, like another guy said, simple bundles shouldn’t interrupt the Switch 2 reveal like you think they would. Just doesn’t add up.
I don’t think anyone claimed bundles would interrupt the switch reveal. It’s mostly the timing of the holiday season.
There’s also a false assumption on the other side of “The Switch is old and thus we need a Switch 2 now” but there’s a brand new Zelda game releasing this month and a new Mario Party and new Mario&Luigi RPG on the horizon too. The games forecast doesn’t really indicate a new console releasing at the end of this year unless it ended up being something like a Switch Pro which… probably is not the best PR move right now after what Sony did imo

I imagine there’s gona be several bundles like this for a boost in Christmas sales, ( with a discount to follow) not sure if Nintendo will want to hold off too much longer though with the switch 2 reveal, with the fact now that it’s entering mass production more and more leaks are gona filter through so they may just want to get some info out there before something drastic leaks
