Capcom Europe has confirmed that the physical edition of the long-awaited Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics for the Nintendo Switch will be a code in box deal for Europe. The North American and Japanese versions of Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics should have a cartridge per an earlier announcement by Capcom. Those of you in Europe opting for the PlayStation 4 version will thankfully get a disc, rather than a code. The physical version of Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics is out 22nd November. The digital edition is available now on the Nintendo Switch eShop.

Capcom Europe are seriously poor, we didn’t get a physical version of the last collection either. Was going to wait for the physical but guess I get to play it earlier I suppose
Capcom doing this again, I had to purchase a physical version of mm11 from America so I guess will have to do the same with this IF I buy it.
In a world where we’re trying to reduce plastic production, there are situations like this.

Does this game even exist on an actual cartridge?
The total size of everything on the collection is so tiny that Capcom wouldn’t even need all the room of the smallest Switch cart. This is just criminal.
Looks like the Japanese and US physical version is about to become rare to find.
