Konami wants to avoid MGS: Master Collection Vol. 1 launch issues with Vol. 2

It has been almost a year now since Konami released Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Volume 1 on multiple platforms, including the Nintendo Switch. Unfortunately, the volume’s release didn’t go well. There were multiple bugs, graphical issues, and more. The issues have since been fixed, and the games are in a much better state now, but Konami isn’t happy that the problems occurred in the first place.

You see, development of the next volume of the collection is now underway and Metal Gear series promotions director Jiro Oishi and production producer Noriaki Okamura have mentioned it in a new Production Hotline video that was released recently. They told fans eager to learn more about Volume 2’s games that not only will porting the newer games come with its own set of issues, but Okamura even said that “we’re also worried about how Vol. 1 had a pretty rough launch, with all of the issues, so we’re going to do everything we can not to repeat that, but we just have to ask for everyone to give us time.”
