The move would see Sony own Spike Chunsoft. and also have a majority share in FromSoft, the developers behind the acclaimed Elden Ring, Bloodbourne and more. 1. Oh no, Sony owning Danganronpa is a horrifying thought, considering how infamous they are for censoring what are supposed to be mature games.

  1. Knowing that they had paid a few billion to acquire Bungie, how much are they willing to give for the behemoth that is Kadokawa? I still have a big doubt about Sony’s ability to pay even more given their difficulty and especially that kadokawa wants to be bought out.

    1. You do know that company is only worth 2.7 billion which Sony has 12 billion in cash also has said they will make 8 billion in profits lol

      1. And you forget that they bought Bungie for a few billion…. Is a development studio worth that much….?
The value of a company has never reflected the purchase value…

  2. Sony is trying is best to create new IP’s and all he achieves is leading the studios they acquire to bankruptcy lmfao, and it’s all Sony’s fault cause they only greenlight the most boring uninspired slop.

    1. … and? You say that as if they’d suddenly force FromSoft to stop making the games they’re famous for. Silly logic. That’s a move Microsoft would do because they’re morons when it comes to videogames.

      1. So it’s “silly” to distrust the company that won’t even take the easy money of porting Bloodborne to PC (let alone commissioning a sequel) but, instead, bought and invested in Concord? Ok then.

  3. I want everyone that was extremely vocal about MS aquiring Activision and Bethesda, and their worries about MS making those games exclusive to keep that same energy when Sony announced that they are going to make those Souls games and Danganronpa games exclusive to PS.
