There’s a new returning selection of user icons for Nintendo Switch Online members to users to browse and select and they are from the beloved Earthbound series of video games. As with all Nintendo Switch Online user icons these can be redeemed easily with any spare Platinum Points you have and they can be found on your Nintendo Switch Home Screen by opening the Nintendo Switch Online app at the bottom of said screen. The Earthbound icons will be available on the service until 8th December.
You might want to change the picture preview to Earthbound and not Mother 3.
Mother 3 icons would be pretty cool to have.
Pretty sure anyone can get Mother 3 icons by setting their account to be based in Japan and getting them that way. Though, I also remember people having problems with their Switches softlocking upon switching their accounts back to their actual countries, or something of that sort.
