Nintendo has been very active with the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack retro libraries recently. Although it varies which retro library gets updated with more games, Nintendo’s schedule with new additions has reached a point where it is now guaranteed to see at least one retro game added a month.
Well, it isn’t surprising, but tonight has proved to be no exception. You see, Nintendo has announced that Wolf of the Battlefield: Mercs, Vectorman and ToeJam & Earl in Panic on Funkotron are now available to play for Nintendo Switch Online members. It can be found in the SEGA Genesis retro library. You can see the official announcement social media post from Nintendo of America down below.

Vectorman was one of my favorite Genesis games back in the mid-90’s. It’s great to see this game on NSO + Expansion Pack for the Switch!
Oh wow Vectorman! I only knew one kid with Sega back in the day and I have fond memories of playing that at his house and being amazed at how great it looked. Will definitely be playing this on NSO.
