Croc: Legend of the Gobbos remaster delayed

The Croc: Legend of the Gobbos remaster from Argonaut Games has been delayed from its expected launch window of December 2024 to the first quarter of 2025.

Argonaut shared the news on X with an image post, saying that the decision to delay “was not made lightly” and that “a little more time is needed…to ensure the game meets the high standards that we aspire to and which you deserve.”

  1. Feels like they didn’t get the hype train or pre-order-numbers they wanted, and pushs it back for that reason. Or the date wasn’t realistic to begin with, and just there to make hype. Q1 for “finishing touches” sounds sus, but hey as people here pointed out; if the devs don’t need to crunch because of this — that’s great!

  2. I see it up on the GOG website, but its still not on Steam. Is this coming to Steam or is it only on GOG for PC players? I can’t seem to find an answer to this question.

Also to keep this comment on topic. I’m always happy to see developers take more time when needed. I’m sick of companies forcing the game developers to rush a product out to meet a release date. It gives me more faith this game will play as intended.

    1. Thanks for your comment. From what I researched, it appears that the game will be skipping out on Steam and will only be available on PC through GOG.

  3. What stood out to me about Arinotech is their emphasis on reliability and customer-focused solutions. It’s not something every tech provider delivers consistently.

  4. You are here because you need immediate, practical action. Whether you need to permanently remove a mugshot from Arrests.org to clear a background check, or you are scrambling to secure bail and schedule a jail visitation for a loved one, this guide bypasses the fluff and gives you the exact operational steps to take right now.
