Nintendo Switch version of Antonblast delayed again

The Nintendo Switch version of Wario Land-inspired platformer Antonblast is being delayed once more, according to an announcement from Summitsphere.

Studio Head Tony Grayson shared the following message on X:

In it, Grayson clarifies that the Steam version will still launch on December 3 as expected, but that the Nintendo Switch version needs a little more time in the oven.

The team is reportedly aiming to release the Nintendo Switch version before the end of 2024, but Grayson didn’t provide a definitive date.

This follows a delay from last month, which pushed the release from November 12 to December 3 because of setbacks suffered by the developers due to the onslaught of Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton.

Meanwhile, Fangamer recently unveiled that a physical copy of Antonblast for the Nintendo Switch is in the works and will be available at some point in 2025.

  1. The more they stay away from the pizza tower release the better, I already have pizza tower on steam and I’m tempted to buy it again on switch

    1. I saw Pizza Tower way before Antonblast. I’m not sure which was announced first though. At any rate, I know they made Antonball so maybe that’s a factor why Antonblast is coming out later.
