Team Cherry has reiterated that Hollow Knight: Silksong is still in development at the studio and will eventually be released. It has been a long time since we have seen or heard anything about the long-awaited indie title. Team Cherry’s head of marketing and publishing, Matthew Griffin, told a fan on X that “the game is real, progressing and will release.” When they might be remains unknown.

The fact that confirming the game is real is something they have to demonstrates how bad the comms around this game have been.
I’ve never played hollow knight. Or really any 2d styled game like that. I should give it a chance because tons of people seem obsessed with it.
