  1. No way I’m paying $100 bucks for this, Nintendo you should be ashamed of yourselves making this expensive alarm clock , make it more affordable and maybe I might consider buying one

    1. The reveal trailer showed nothing imaginitive… It is a terrible product from that alone, but could have been very fun and interesting. Unfortunately not and $100 is ridiculous. Bad idea, bad marketing… another dud to be soon forgotten

  2. I got one thinking I would regret it but actually really like it.

Just needing to move around to make it snooze has made waking up a lot more pleasant. I know I might be in the minority but I’m not regretting the purchase at all simply because of that function. The Nintendo stuff is a fun bonus and ultimately why I bought it but that aspect isn’t where I’ve found its value.

  3. I think what people don’t get about Alarmo is it’s not just some basic alarm clock with Nintendo themes as the gimmic. It’s more of a sleep trainer… a Wii Fit type thing for sleeping. The night time sounds are pretty wonderful for clearing the mind and getting me off to sleep quicker. The wakeup sounds are enough to wake me without jarring me to wake. Over time, I’ve gotten to the point that I don’t really even need the alarm to wake up. I usually wake about a minute or two before it goes off. I also don’t use my bed for just hanging out watching tv anymore. It’s more for going to bed and I got a separate spot setup as a secondary place to watch tv when I’m not in my den or office. I don’t use the sleep tracking data that often, but it is interesting to glance at similar to using a pedometer that collects data all week. It’s nice to see how things have changed. I do understand, on the surface it looks like some kids toy alarm clock with themes that is over priced, but in practice… it’s probably the best sleep training clock on the market.
