Nintendo showcases Metroid Prime 4 Beyond for 2025

Nintendo has showcasing some brand new footage of the upcoming Nintendo Switch adventure Metroid Prime 4 Beyond which the Kyoto-based company reconfirmed is scheduled for 2025. The game doesn’t have a solid release date and it’s likely that that will be unveiled during next week’s Nintendo Switch 2-themed Nintendo Direct.

  1. Disagree with the article… if they had a release date, they would have given it… We’ve seen Switch games planned until 2026!

But indeed, I know one who will be eager to play it…^^

    1. The article is correct. No release date, but reconfirmed its for 2025, as stated in the official Nintendo video.

      1. I was talking about the fact that the article says that we’ll know more in the live stream of the new switch next week… but there is no reason for this..

        1. Yes there is.
Next week is going to be a huge week for Nintendo and its the perfect time for them to say M4 will be a dual system launch title on XXX day.

          I mean come on !

          1. They could have already done it in this live broadcast…. at least we know that pokemon Z-A will be released by the end of the year, now Metroid Prime 4 we have nothing, which is worrying!

    2. There is one obvious exception to the “if they had a release date, they would have given it” idea. That is if the release date is Switch 2’s launch day. Just saying, if it had been some date in mid to late June we’d have all been very suspicious.

      1. I agree with Damen’s point here. The fact that we didn’t get a release date makes me think it is on Switch 2 launch day. That plus the “enhanced switch 2 edition” reveal on the website, they will show off the differences on April 2.

  2. Why does Metroid Prime 4 need a unessasry Gimmick that doesn’t belong?, I just wanted more of what I experienced in Prime Remaster. I hate it when a Company feels like they always have to throw in unnecessary gimmicks into game sequels. If Gamers wanted something different they’d play a different game. You don’t always have to reinvent the wheel or throw in unnecessary Changes. I just wanted more Metroid Prime in new locations with new enemies and a new story. Though a online pvp mode would be nice

  3. Don’t like the choir theme for Samus’ arrival. Hope it’s good – won’t be as good as 1 or 2, but likely better than 3. Eight years for THIS?
