First North American Switch 2 commercial released

The Nintendo Switch 2 is a little more than a month away from its June 5th launch, so the marketing for Nintendo‘s brand new console is only just getting started. Nevertheless, the console’s release is close enough where Nintendo is beginning to release commercials for it. In fact, a commercial that the company posted today may surprise you.

Earlier today, Nintendo of America posted a new commercial for the Switch 2. This is the very first Switch 2 commercial confirmed for North America. What makes this commercial interesting is that Nintendo brought back Paul Rudd, who was featured in a 1991 commercial for the SNES, to recreate it to help promote the Switch 2. You can see the commercial in full down below.

  1. As much as i watch tv i very rarely see Nintendo commercials unless i specifically look them up online. Other commercials they show every time they have an ad break, but i only see Nintendo commercials on rare occasion.

  2. My 2 main takeaways.
    The commercial itself is tosh.
And they couldn’t be bothered to make an effort to update the OS.

  3. The information about Nintendo’s marketing campaign for the Switch 2 is truly timely and exciting. The fact that the company started releasing advertisements early shows thorough preparation and confidence in this new generation of consoles. Thank you for sharing these high-quality and highly anticipated insights!
