Warner Bros Games has announced that if you own the original Hogwarts Legacy on the Nintendo Switch console you can upgrade your purchase to the superior Nintendo Switch 2 version for $10. This is a similar upgrade path to how Sony delivers upgrades to its first party games on the PlayStation 5. Hogwarts Legacy for the current Nintendo Switch is currently on sale for $17.99 on the Nintendo eShop.

Since this is basically a completely different game, I would never have thought there will be an upgrade from the Switch version. Not bad. 👍
Astonishing yes, knowing that they play the complete game and to have a comparative version, there is a galaxy that separates the two versions.
That’s how most games with an upgrade are on PSN “either free or $10” I know this isn’t PSN, but it’s basically the same concept.
That’s very decent of them considering the Switch version can be had for cheap now
But and if I have the physical version?
I’m fairly certain I’ve read that Hogwarts Legacy is NOT getting an upgrade pathway.
