A prominent MultiVersus leaker has teased that Injustice 3 is in development following the successful launch of Mortal Kombat 1. WB Games made a costly mistake with MultiVersus, so it seems the company is playing it safe and sticking with a tried and tested formula. Mortal Kombat and Injustice series creator Ed Boon has previously said that a third entry in the Injustice franchise isn’t off the cards. We will now have to wait and see what transpires.

Personally, I think that that is a very vague tease: as much as I loved the Injustice games, do we really need a third one?
Make it a true multiverse game not MCU get actual comic writers like Joe Kelly to write it. Do Deception gameplay a single player story, arcade story, and Konquest mode story. After that make a Ben 10 game no more MK.
This will flop they don’t get DC, the gameplay is trash, they should have made Injustice 3 over MK1 it’s been way too long. When this flops I hope WB closes NRS down.
Get actual good writers to make it Grant Morrison if possible. Joe Kelly, James Tynion, Scott Snyder, and Bryan Hill. People who can write the Multiverse. Maybe adapt DC Metal or Convergence or better Crisis On Infinite Earths with Injustice Superman redeemed get Geoff Johns to write it or Tomasi.
Let this be the last one license out DC games moving forward made by a proper DC team supervising. So for this make it an adaption of DC Metal where the end is Injustice Superman redeems himself sacrificing himself to save the universe then it reboots and we have a Pre-New 52 universe. Also Batman Who Laughs vs Injustice Superman would be great. Then the expansion stories can be Blackest Night and Brightest Day. Have Geoff Johns, Scott Snyder, and James Tynion writing the main story and expansions. Also 100+ characters base roster and NO Mortal Kombat guest characters! Wally West needs to finally be in the game and Punchline too. Only guest characters should be from Ben 10 and Generator Rex because WB owns them unlike other guests NRS has done. A Legion Of Superheroes expansion would be great too by Johns and of course Static Shock cartoon characters in the game Static, Gear, Elon, Hotstreak, maybe SheBang and Shiv. No gear system either dont bring that back. With a Switch 2 port and day 1 on PC it will do well and no celebrity guests and no guests outside Ben 10 and Generator Rex which Joe Kelly and Joe Casey should write their storyline endings.
Game will not be revealed until Game Awards earliest. Very fair chance of cancelation WB cant take more financial L’s and the gaming division and CNN cause that. No titles out this year despite Zaslav comments saying otherwise. The game will get canceled and possibly the whole division. Its better and cheaper to license out. If it doesn’t it will flop the game would need miracles to succeed like 100 or more characters base roster and honestly go back to 3D over 2D and great comic accurate story no Domonic writing. They won’t do that though and Gunn’s Superman will flop too the costs on it is crazy.
