Rumour: Persona 4 Remake reveal at Xbox Showcase & Switch 2 version coming later

Persona 4 Golden art-work

Rumours of SEGA and Atlus preparing a Persona 4 Remake have been doing the rounds as of late and another site says it has heard that it is genuine. Mp1st claims that the remake of the classic JRPG is set to debut at the Xbox Game Showcase on Sunday. However, there is one caveat and that is there might not be a Nintendo Switch 2 version at launch. As always this is a rumour so take it as you will.

A source familiar with the situation has confirmed to MP1st today that Persona 4 Remake will be revealed at the Xbox Games Showcase on June 8. It’s planned for release on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, though we failed to get confirmation if there’s also a Switch 2 version releasing simultaneously.

    1. Arena had the ultimax port couple years ago. P1 will never get a remake and P2, if it ever does, will be after 6. P1 and 2 are too different from the modern persona games. They’d be taking a risk if people would buy them or not

  1. Based on the fact that not a single Switch 2 game was announced today, I’m not taking any rumors of third-party support seriously. Right now the Switch 1 is getting more support than Switch 2…

    1. Nintendo needs that Direct. Isn’t the console out already? They pulled a PlayStation with Switch 2bits as bad all the changes, “upgraded” existing titles, higher prices, barely any launch titles I mean PS5 had 1 game Demon Souls remake at launch no other exclusive.

    2. I think you guys just need to wait a bit, it just came out and it has already more exclusives than a ps5 probably.
