Nintendo has announced on its official website that it will end the extremely handy Nintendo Switch Online Voucher program some time early next year. The offer which gave Nintendo Switch Online members the ability to purchase two Nintendo Switch software vouchers to redeem against first party games and some third party games will now end on 30th January, 2026. Nintendo had previously stated that Nintendo Switch 2 games are not included in the promotion.

As of 11:59 PM Pacific Time January 30, 2026, it will no longer be possible to purchase Nintendo Switch Game Vouchers. Any vouchers you purchase on or before that date will work exactly as they currently do—unused vouchers expire 12 months after the date of purchase.

  1. No gold coins, no Vouchers, 80 dollar games, the whole “digital cartridge” bullcrap. Nintendo is getting reeeeeeeeeeeally greedy and it’s hard to deny it.

    1. sony also ended their rewards program. Just seems like shareholders are the root problem wanting more profits than ever
