The Pokemon Company has announced a new Mystery Gift for Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet in the form of Shiny Wo-Chien. The Shiny Legendary Pokemon was defeated in a hard-fought Tera Raid Battle event. The total number of player victories against Shiny Wo-Chien during the event reached 6,078,885. To celebrate this, Shiny Wo-Chien will be available to claim via Mystery Gift in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet up until 30th September. Pokemon fans can also get a free set of 40 Tera Shards—each containing 10 Grass Tera Shards, 10 Ice Tera Shards, 10 Ground Tera Shards, and 10 Fire Tera Shards.
How to Claim a Mystery Gift in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet
- Launch your Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet game.
- Select Poké Portal on the X menu.
- Select Mystery Gift, then select Get via Internet to connect to the internet.
- Choose the gift you want to receive.
- Watch as your gift arrives in-game.
- Be sure to save your game.
Attention: It‘s 100 tera shards, not just 10. You get 400 shards.

I was able to use the tera shards to get poison tera Kantonian Sandslash, fairy tera Tsareena, bug tera Jolteon, and grass tera Gardevoir and Hatterene.
Grinding those Tera shards aren’t that difficult especially if you only focus on the raids, use the sandwich that increases drops from raids and going after static Tera of specific type. I have around 300 of each (mostly cuz I’m not focusing on a type) but I have like almost 800 Stellar shards (am focusing on them because of the BBQs).
