The rumours are heating up around the rumoured Nintendo Direct presentation for September with a couple of supposed leakers claiming that Capcom is preparing a native version of Resident Evil 7 for the Nintendo Switch 2. We received a bunch of Resident Evil titles on the Nintendo Switch, though these were cloud based games and weren’t running natively on the hardware. A port of Resident Evil 7 for the Nintendo Switch 2 seems like a relatively easy job for Capcom. All we need now is a date for the September Nintendo Direct.

Horrible so this is 1 of the 7’s my guess the other is FF7 Rebirth not sure what the last 7 is. Killer7 2? Dead Or Alive 7? Can hope. Sorry just remembered someone heard Dragon Quest 7 remake could happen so looks like that’s it.
Remake, not Rebirth.
Probably RE7, VII:R and either 007 or CoD Black Ops 7. No one ever said they’d be entirely new titles.
It’ll be Rebirth they already announced Remake for Switch 2. Square wants it out now and companies have done this in the past despite Remake not being out on Switch 2 yet.
Again, no one said it’ll be only unannounced titles. And it doesn’t even make sense to be Rebirth because:
-Remake isn’t out yet.
-Apparently Remake is having some issues that need ironing out.
So no, the Rebirth thing is purely delusional.
This rumor was way too overhyped. Hopefully Direct if it happens this week actually delivers at least Metroid Prime 4
Disgusting. Just give the Nintendo Switch 2 the NON-cloud based Resident Evil 2, 3 and 4 remakes.

Yeah this leak was overhyped the 7 thing. Led many to expect something else instead it’s these ports and honestly I don’t think many care. RE as a franchise I think is cooked and Capcom should end it already hopefully 10 is the final game maybe if RE9 flops which it seems they may fear that happening with rumors of a Switch 2 port and PS4 port.
