DuskGolem, who specialises in Resident Evil game leaks, has stated that he has heard that all RE Engine Resident Evil games are coming natively to the Nintendo Switch 2. Capcom prepared the Resident Evil games with an update on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, so lets hope that the visual changes present in those versions will come to the Nintendo Switch, rather than just straight up PlayStation 4 and Xbox One ports. Capcom has not announced any Resident Evil games for the Nintendo Switch 2. Perhaps something will be announced at the Tokyo Game Show this month.

Sick, i’ve not played the RE2, 3, and 4 remakes. Looking forward to giving them all a go. Hopefully RE9 will run well on the Switch 2. The lighting in that game seems super ambitious.
Play them some of them months ago with my brother on my Laptop – that has a rtx 2060 gpu (had a blast, the games are well optimized, and a great experience) they should be running at least a tad better than on the PS4, and they looked really good.

That is True, but maybe they expect that a large base of consumers that only had the original Nintendo Switch, enter into all these games fresh with the Switch 2. for years i only had my switch to play some ports that were obviously better / cheaper on the PC, but at the time gave me a nice experience (Doom, Wolfenstein 2, Octopath Traveler , Rocket League, Fortnite among some of them)
From my part, i have not played 7 or Village, so it’s a well-received news this one.
7 is great until the final act starts. I’d try to describe it spoiler-free but you’ll realize it when you get there. It’s like 2 separate games combined where 7 proper should have ended and they tacked on what should have been DLC.
Village is kind of the same, everything after the 2nd act was rushed and feels like a different game. All RE games have a polarizing 2nd or 3rd act I know, but these truly don’t fit. Thankfully Village has a 3rd person mode now so it plays much better than in fps.
On Game Key cards, if they came, full game on cartridges I’d buy them all.
they all do run absolutely wonderful on my iPad, so after Capcom has always supported Nintendo with their Resident Evil magic, its just a matter of time. Amazing games by thhe way. Played RE2 and while I couldn’t get past Mr X, I adore how well this game is crafted and designed.
I’m buying them all.
