Kit & Krysta say Nintendo has a dedicated team for leaks

Former Nintendo of America employees Kit Ellis and Krysta Yang have revealed in a recent video that Nintendo has entire team dedicated to leaks. It’s unsurprising news given the Kyoto-based company is notoriously secretive, so when things do slip out this team of highly skilled individuals investigate.  “They are very elite. They’re very good at their jobs, and they will solve these cases,” Yang said.

    1. They said when/if a leak occurs. They’re very competent in finding out who leaked it and where and how. It’s hard to prevent a leak but should one occur, the team investigates and makes sure whoever leaked it is held accountable if someone broke an NDA. Or to find out if it leaked some other way. That’s what they’re very competent in. Not preventing a leak—that’s what NDA’s and the people who sign them are supposed to do.

      1. NDA don’t prevent anything… the proof is that we knew almost everything about the Switch 2 months beforehand, and I wonder what Nintendo will do about third parties because it’s clearly their fault.

Then, I know they can’t prevent leaks, but they can dissuade them… this is still getting worse. Nintendo will soon have to announce nothing since we’ll know everything a long time before…
        I really hate these leakers.

        1. Well if NDA’s didn’t prevent anything, we’d have probably known everything about the Switch 2 years before it was announced rather than months.
