Atlus planning to fix Persona 3 Reload Switch 2 framerate after launch

Persona 3 Reload General Producer Yoshihiro Komori, has recently taken part in an interview around the upcoming Persona 3 Reload. There’s a demo for the JRPG on the eShop which you can check out, but as many have noticed there’s some framerate issues. Mr. Komori says that the team is aware of this and they are unable to address this in time for the game’s release, though they will be fixing it in post launch updates.

The demo that was recently released on the Switch 2 eShop shows the game running at 30FPS, but with some frame rate hiccups. Is the team hoping to have those problems worked out for the final release of the game?

Yoshihiro Komori: We are currently taking steps to improve this. Since careful QA is required, it was difficult to address this in time for the main game’s release but will be in future patches.

  1. Im not too much of a framerate snobs when it comes to turn based rpg’s, but I do wonder why they couldnt have made the effort to make it so.

  2. Honestly I think they blew their chance. Game key card, higher price, no Aegis dlc. The demo’s performance turned me off, that and it should have run at a solid 30 if it wasn’t going to do 60. I just went with the PS5 version. Unless they can somehow achieve 60fps it’s just not worth it for this version.

    1. Got the physical ps5 version for 27 bucks, 4K, 60 FPS and true physical, Sega are really dropping the ball, at the very very least, Square Enix is only cjarging 40 dollars for FF7 Remake.
