The head of Xbox Phil Spencer has told Famitsu that it plans to continue bringing select games to the Nintendo Switch 2. We found out earlier this week that Bethesda’s Fallout 4 will be coming to the platform next year. Sadly, the remake of the first Halo game, which was revealed yesterday, hasn’t been announced for the system. Here’s what Phil told the Japanese gaming site.
“We are making efforts to lower the barrier to entry for people to play our games through services like Xbox Play Anywhere and Xbox Game Pass. However, if there are people who want to play our games on the PlayStation 5 or the Nintendo Switch 2, we would love for them to play our games on those platforms. In that regard, we have received excellent support from both Sony Interactive Entertainment and Nintendo.”

Koei Tecmo should do the same or Microsoft do it Ninja Gaiden Black finally ported and Dead Or Alive Ultimate, 3, and 4 ported.

Halo died years ago for most both Halo and Gears died when their original studios left. Also gaming has completely changed honestly PS6 I think will be the last PlayStation after that gaming will be different. Look now it’s already different most these kids and 20 year olds even mostly play Roblox, Fortnite, and Minecraft no other games and have no platform loyalty. Funny Halo MCC was offered to PlayStation but Jim Ryan shut that down on PS5 so they were always trying to get it there. Microsoft now can try to get Game Pass on PlayStation and Nintendo.

Microsoft like EA bought so many companies and just trashed them while kept their true gems away from gamers, and all we get is this neo plastic trash, that looks like a 4 year old vomited on the carpet. I stopped caring when Microsoft remade Conker and it looked ugly as hell, just like Battletoads new game. A true travesty. I don’t care for them, even if they give out the old gems. It is too later for that.
Killer Instinct 2013 was good and Conker was not ugly that was Rare. I swear you people who hate Microsoft just to hate have no real criticism like how poorly they run things now adays the OG Xbox was great unlike now. New Battletoads was trash blame Rare for that they can’t run a studio I blame Microsoft for keeping them open and running other studios poorly like Everwild was a nothing burger and now the head of that project got promoted actual criticism for stupidity. DotEmu and LizardCube should have been Battletoads to make a new game but modern Rare had connections with Dlala so that happened. Also what did EA buy to trash? Pandemic? Because the rest were already trash like BioWare who had other offers but chose EA, Respawn is still there what else is there and don’t fully blame the mega Corp when the smaller studio sells out especially if they don’t need to.
Just put jade empire, conker, jet set radio future and a Forza horizon game, don’t care which one on switch 2 and I’ll be happy
