We all know that Netflix is now planning to acquire Warner Bros. and if the deal go through it will be a big shakeup of the entertainment industry. Bloomberg is reporting that Warner Bros. wasn’t the only company which Netflix was planning to acquire as it was looking at buying EA, Fox and Disney before they decided on Warner Bros. Disney would have been an interesting one as believe or not Netflix’s market cap is twice that of Disney with Disney’s Market Cap at 189.78 billion and Netflix Market Cap at is 407 billion.

Skydance outbid them and is pursuing a takeover. Also what does this have to do with Nintendo or gaming? I guess the EA part? Netflix could easily buy Sony Pictures no hurdle and expand into a Tencent partnership that would benfit them longterm. EA would make no sense for them. Apple can buy Disney and probably will sell off parks and resorts to Saudi Arabia under a licensing deal makes sense. If Netflix wanted to buy Disney they should have years ago they were worth more years ago. Instead Netflix wasted money on Mark Millar and others.
Skydance offered over $108 billion no middle east money unlike the media reported which was lies as usual.
If it keeps EA away from the Saudis, I’ll take it.

Why would you ever want to buy Warner Bros. over Disney? How could you pass on owning Disney parks & hotels? The character IP, all the films of Disney classics, 20th Century Fox, Marvel, LucasFilm, Pixar….. the rights to Disney Plus, ABC, etc. I mean, if they had the opportunity to own Mickey Mouse and passed on it, they’re freaking stupid
As much as I’d laugh at Netflix owning Disney and the people that would lose their shit over it, it’s not gonna happen because Disney owns way too many other companies. Netflix would effectively become a monopoly and there’s anti-trust laws against it. Plus, the Disney-Fox merger almost didn’t go through itself because of those laws.
