The beloved Persona series of video games is currently celebrating its 30th anniversary and all eyes are on Atlus and its plans for the franchise in 2026. A snippet taken from the Asian Google web listing seems to indicate that we should eventually get a look at the long-awaited next game in the Persona series, Persona 6.

This generation is reminding me of the PS3 generation GTA coming out at the end of the gen, Persona probably being cross gen and also end of gen, Kingdom Hearts skipping the gen. Just awful thought we would finally get PS2 nostalgia that wave of games instead we got trash! Horrible generation! PS6 is coming 2027 for sure.
This gen was just trash glad I skipped on it. In terms of Persona I feel I got in at the right time you need to be a teen, pre teen or young adult to like it if you are older you won’t click either the characters. Honestly do wish anime and these games would do adult characters instead of only highschoolers weirdly enough anime used too have more adult make leads in shonen manga and anime. Heck make harem comedy series about adult man and adult women would sell better. Cobra was kind of that and Golden Boy somewhat, Lupin was super suave and Golgo13 too.
