Capcom has holding a special Resident Evil showcase event on Thursday which will undoubtedly contain plenty of footage of the glorious Resident Evil Requiem which is coming to the Nintendo Switch 2. There’s an unsubstantiated rumour that Capcom is also set to show one more game, which if Dusk Golem’s previous information is correct, could be either Resident Evil Code Veronica remake or Resident Evil 0 remake. I would love to see a remake of 5. The only things that sucked about 5 was the ending (Really? A volcano?) and Sheva’s AI. I’m sure they have much more impressive AI today, and Im equally as sure that they would change the ending to be a little less tacky. Either way, the games are great (except 6) and are fun to play!
Next remake is either Zero or Code Veronica then 1 finally. 5 I think is still modern enough but that’s on Capcom to take a chance on and feel if it’s worth it. Revelations 1 and 2 I think need the remakes after 1 and Dino Crisis for sure.

Capcom said they were not doing it at one point. So either its not happening or not right now. Thing is that audience is getting old most of that audience is in their 40s now will they buy a remake? Will they buy a remake in 2030s? Will they be gaming then? Companies should have catered to Gen Z sooner. Capcom should finally make Gotcha Force 2, Power Stone 3, DC vs Capcom, Mega Man Legends 3, and remake Mega Man Legends 1 and 2. Under The Skin would do great now a days too with online.
RE4 Remake on Switch 2 would be lovely. I would definitely rebuy it to play it portably.
This game looks fuzzy on Switch 2 curious if thats the case for it Pragmata and 4 remake if they were to release? I mean its possible since 4 remake is a PS4 game.
Watch the YouTube video of the Escapist. His review of Resident Evil 5 is spot on and hilarious. “At one point, I stepped on a thumbtack and lost a little health, and decided to use a green herb. I looked up and saw Sheva come toward me with a First Aid Spray. When you run away more from your partner than the enemies, you know something went horribly wrong”. -The Escapist I kind of changed his wording, but it gets the gist down perfectly. Lol
Rumor was this was coming to PS4 has that been announced yet? Makes sense given Monster Hunter Wilds underperformed and was on PC, PS5, and Xbox only meanwhile this and Pragmata will be on Switch 2 as well. Last 2 Resident Evil games met expectations and were on PS4 8 and the remake of 4.
Honestly I think this will be a rough year for Capcom. FGC is shilling SF6 despite it not being as mainstream as Capcom wanted funny they were just bashing it, Pragmata is a new IP so could flop, this will be open world supposedly so divisive to old fans and if MH flopped for them this will do worse, Onimusha also could be a tough sell because old IP also no word on Switch 2 release on that one. Saudi’s I think buy Capcom or buy a majority stake.
Why does the picture look like 2 brothers is that what the game is about 2 brothers not Leon? Chris and Jill are still better hopefully they come back for X and that ends the series.
