Splatoon Raiders launches July on Nintendo Switch 2

Splatoon Raiders
, an all-new single-player focused title in the Splatoon series, arrives exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2 on July 23rd

Splatoon Raiders is a single-player focused action shooter for Splatoon veterans and newcomers alike. You take on the role of a mechanic embarking on a high-stakes adventure across the mysterious Spirhalite Islands.

Customise your appearance and your loadout and get ready to raid the islands for treasure. Using a variety of mechanical gadgets and ink-splattering weapons, splat scores of enemies called Salmonids, conquer raids and salvage loot on your journey through the one-of-a-kind Splatoon universe.

But you won’t be alone – you’ll be working with Frye, Shiver and Big Man, a trio of swashbuckling musicians who make up the splat-tacular band Deep Cut. In fact, one member of the band will raid alongside you as a powerful bot. And speaking of Deep Cut, brand-new amiibo featuring Frye, Shiver and Big Man sporting their new looks from Splatoon Raiders will also be available when the game launches July 23rd.

Additionally, the game supports the ability to join with up to three other players online or via local wireless connection.

Pre-orders for Splatoon Raiders are available now on Nintendo eShop. The Deep Cut amiibo will be available for pre-order on My Nintendo Store soon.

  1. NEW AMIIBO WOOOOOHHHHHHH

I’ll have to think on if I pick this up at launch, but those amiibo… I’m definitely getting lol. I really liked Splatoon 2 but haven’t played 3, so I’m on the fence ever so slightly lol

  2. Such a perfect summer game! Looks fun and I want the amiibo’s bad, but they are probally a couple billion dollars.

      1. I am a simple guy, I have been playing pokopia and tomadachi life. But I also play a couple of matches of slay the spire 2 on my computer. Thanks for asking!

  3. Nice. I just hope it’s comfortable to play in handheld mode. I skipped on Splatoon 2 because the motion controls didn’t translate well in handheld mode (I’m not sure if 3 fixed this or not. Never tried it)

          1. I finished Paper Mario TTYD remake yesterday. I fired up FZero GX on the NSO app but it feels even harder than when I was younger. Tempted to replay Chibi-Robo instead.

            1. Man I feel like I’m insanely bad at F-Zero too, GX is insanely fun but I get absolutely smoked. Probably just a matter of trial and error I need to try harder.

  4. Looks great. I’m not big into competitive games (outside of Smash, and Starcraft), and always wanted more and more single player content for Splatoon. Definitely picking this up day one, my son will love it too!

  5. This might be the one that gets me into the Splatoon universe. I never tried any of them but this single player game looks so good. I am hyped!

  6. Looked a lot less inventive than any of the campaign modes in the base games. I’d need to see more here. Nice graphics tho
