The original character designer for Star Fox the talented, Takaya Imamura, has thanked the legend that is Shigeru Miyamoto for the revival of the franchise with Star Fox for the Nintendo Switch 2. Mr. Imamura was on the stage during his band’s performance at BitSummit and said “Everyone, Star Fox was great, right? Thank you Miyamoto-san. That’s all.”
Former Star Fox character designer thanks Miyamoto for Star Fox revival at BitSummit

It’s a Starfox 64 revival, actually
It’s the series revival so they are right too, also no puedo esperar para bailar al compás del Fox…smh.
I mean, we’ll see. It’s not a series revival unless they make a new game after the 64 remake. Honestly, I think it could go either way at this point.
It depends if this game is worth the wait and if sales help.
Nintendo shouldn’t sleep on this opportunity and keep giving star fox related content like icons, rewards or star fox adventures and assault on the Nintendo classics service to not let the hype die, but things got somewhat cold after the direct.
Nintendo certainly shouldn’t ignore the franchise’s potential and could keep the interest in Star Fox alive through additional content, such as badges, in-game rewards, or the return of classic games like Adventures or Assault on the Nintendo Classics service. This would help keep the community’s attention and prevent the initial hype from fading too quickly.
However, after the last Nintendo Direct, it’s noticeable that the general interest has cooled down a bit, and now it all depends on whether there are specific announcements or updates that will bring the discussion back to a high level.
Bot, you made a casino advertisement on the fallout article. Get em outta here!
You do know Star Fox 64 was a remake of Star Fox for the Super Nintendo, right?
Rumors are saying Star Fox Adventures is next up on the remake pipeline
If true, that means a Star Fox 3 is going to put this series back on track hopefully
They could’ve added a bunch of new levels and challenging bosses, kinda tired at the mostly easy difficulty in Nintendo’s games, and then giant worlds to pad out the content if there’s not much to it.
This isn’t an open world game.
Someone didn’t read my comment properly.. skimming is a curse for many.
You were talking about open world like every nintendo game is one. I did read your comment fully though. But just know that those 2 things you mentioned (Easy difficulty and Open World) Don’t really apply to star fox. Sorry for the confusion, adios!
The game literally has a brand new expert mode where getting damaged once breaks the wings of the Arwing. The game is gonna have plenty of options for difficulty.
Brand new..? Someone never played the original..
I’m literally playing it right now. Got a medal on Venom 2. Is there hidden expert mode I have to input somewhere or something because there’s no difficulty option on the main menu.
Yeah it’s there, you’re gonna have to get all medals first before you have access to it.
That’s all.
