Known retail leaker Billbil-kun has said that the currently unannounced Sonic Frontiers Definitive Edition which is just for Nintendo Switch 2 will be a Game-Key Card, which will come as disappointing news to some. Sonic Frontiers Definitive Edition is likely to be announced at the Summer Game Fest which kicks off on Friday. Here’s what Billbil-kun said via machine translation:

I’d show you my collection if I knew a safe way to. I used to have a massive collection of games from other consoles when I was in my twenties but sadly my place was robbed one night. I ended up moving away and starting fresh with the Switch. Look at how many years it’s been out. When you buy a couple games every month, they add up. In the past week I got all three Switch Monkey Ball games, PoyoPoyo Tetris, and prepared about five games from Limited Run’s website. Also I was just using MsFlame for fun, I actually think you are really awesome Frost.

No everyone did it last generation games on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 were basically key cards there is no more games on physical it pretty much went out last generation, Nintendo was the hold out.
